Week 3 Football Slate

A handful of 2-0 teams will look to stay unbeaten, while other squads will be looking for their first win of the season as the Week 3 schedule kicks off Friday.

Nine area teams have won their first two games this season, with three of them facing off with another unbeaten squad this week. Wichita County (2-0) will take to the road and play at Logan/Placo (2-0), while a pair of unbeatens in 6-man will square off, as Moscow (2-0) travels to Weskan (2-0).

Oddly enough, Weskan and Liberal are the only area 2-0 teams which will play at home on Friday. The rest are on the road - Dodge City is at Wichita-Heights, Scott City plays at Goodland, Colby is at Holcomb, Lakin heads to Syracuse and Cimarron plays at Stanton County.

The Week 3 Schedule for Southwestern Kansas schools looks like this:

Dodge City (2-0) at Wichita-Heights (0-2)

Hays (0-2) at Liberal (2-0)

Scott City (2-0) at Goodland (0-2)
