Week 1 Football Schedule
The opening Friday of the high school football season has arrived in Southwestern Kansas. There will be some head-to-head matchups involving teams in the area, and maybe none more appealing than two of the top 1A schools in the area, as Elkhart travels to Cimarron. Last season, the Wildcats handed the Blue Jays their only regular-season loss, spurring Elkhart to a 9-win season that did not see a blemish until the 1A State Quarterfinals.
