VB - 1A Regionals to be held Tuesday

The KSHSAA Class 1A Volleyball Regional Tournaments will take place on Tuesday, and all area teams will be at one of two regional tournaments - in either Tribune or Moscow.

The Greeley County Regional in Tribune will have Greeley County, Weskan, and Wallace County taking part, with matches beginning at 3 pm CT/2 pm MT. Greeley County will face Weksan in the first match, with the winner playing top-seeded Wheatland/Grinnell in the semifinals. The other first-round match puts Dighton against Quinter, with the winner advancing to the semifinals against second-seeded Wallace County.

The Moscow Regional - which includes Rolla, Meade and Deerfield - will have three first-round matches, with top-seeded South Gray getting the bye. Rolla meets Moscow in the first match, which will begin at 2 pm, and the winner draws South Gray in the semifinals. On the other side of the bracket, second-seeded Meade faces Deerfield, while Ingalls plays Satanta, with the winners meeting in the other semifinal match.

The winners of the semifinal matches will not only meet for the region title, but advance to Saturdays Sub-State round.
