Tuesday Hoops - Bachman's 3-point show drives Broncs to win
Jace Bachman decided to have a long-distance concert of his own, and in the process, drove the rest of his teammates to join the show on Tuesday night in the opening round of the Hi-Plains League Boys Basketball Tournament at Lakin High School.
The junior hit a tournament-record 10 3-pointers as the Broncs raced past Sublette, 84-53, to advance to a Friday matchup with Syracuse at Garden City Community College in the tournament semifinals.
Lakin (7-2) was led by Bachman's 30 points, all from behind the arc. Sonnie Altman added 19 points and Hunter Davis chipped in with 11 for the Broncs.
