Thursday Volleyball Slate
A pair of dual matches and a handful of others are on the schedule for Southwestern Kansas High School Volleyball teams on Thursday.
The lone team from the area which appears in a Kansas Volleyball Association Top 10 poll is Garden City, who returns to action after nine days off from competition at the Pratt Quad. Joining the Class 6A No. 6 Lady Buffs (4-0) are host Pratt (7-5), Ulysses (4-5) and Hays (6-2). Play begins on two courts at 4 pm.
Two dual matches are on the schedule as well, one of them including a interstate matchup. Rolla takes to the road to play at South Baca in Colorado. The Lady Patriots received votes in this week's CHSAANow.com Class 1A Volleyball poll.
The other dual is a matchup of Western Athletic Conference squads, as Dodge City (6-8) takes to the road to face Liberal (3-9).
