SCHS girls, Lakin boys top Class 3A Cimarron Sub-State brackets

The Cimarron Sub-State brackets have been announced by the Kansas State High School Activities Association. Eight teams per bracket will play down to one boys team and one girls team to play in the state tournament.

The Cimarron Sub-State will begin next week, with Boys games on Monday, and Girls games on Tuesday, with first-round matchups at home sites. The semifinals and championship games will be played at Elkhart High School - the boys semifinals will be on Thursday, the girls semifinals on Friday, and both title games on Saturday.

Lakin (16-4) earned the top seed on the boys bracket, while Scott Community (17-2) edged out Colby for the top seed on the girls bracket.

Below are the Sub-State games in bracket order. We will develop a Sub-State page which all scores will appear on throughout the week next week.
