KBCA All-Star Games canceled
The annual celebration of the top graduating seniors in high school basketball in Kansas is the latest event to be taken off the schedule due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association made the decision recently, opting to cancel the June 20th All-Star Games and Honors Ceremony. The event was to be held this season at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina.
"With all the planning and extra scheduling with the events surrounding the all star games, there are too many unknowns to proceed this year," said KBCA Executive Director Randy Walling in a statement. "This is a huge event and much planning goes into the set up."
The KBCA also indicated that they will hold the event in the summer of 2021.
