Beavers hold onto spot in BIK 3A Football poll
The Best in Kansas High School Football poll has been released, with seven area teams earning mentions, and one of them holding onto their current position in a Top 5.
Scott City (Scott Community) held onto the No. 4 position in the Class 3A poll for a third straight week. The Beavers have leaned on their defense, allowing just three points in their first two games.
Six other teams were considered for the various polls, including Dodge City (6A), Liberal (5A), Colby (3A), Cimarron (2A), Lakin (2A) and Wichita County (8-man Division I). All seven teams mentioned have opened their seasons with 2-0 records.
