2A Basketball Sub-State brackets released

The Kansas State High School Activities Association has announced the brackets for the Class 2A Sub-State Tournaments statewide. Eight teams per Sub-State will play down to one boys team and one girls team to play in the state tournament.

The Elkhart Sub-State will begin next week, with Girls games on Monday, and Boys games on Tuesday, with first-round matchups at home sites. The semifinals and championship games will be played at Elkhart High School - the girls semifinals will be on Thursday, the boys semifinals on Friday, and both title games on Saturday.

Pratt-Skyline, who is 18-1 on the season, is the No. 1 seed on the boys bracket. The girls bracket is topped by unbeaten Spearville (20-0).
